Puna II was developed in New Zealand to provide summer and autumn grazing in drought prone areas. It is widely used for grazing sheep, cattle and deer. Puna II can last up to 3 years sheep grazing, but only if rotationally grazed. It can last longer when grazed by cattle. This has been blended with Endure Chicory which is noted for its improved persistence in damper soils and fast establishment. Sown to enhance mineral profile of grazing. Fast establishing, it can be used as a one year crop for repeat summer-autumn grazing.
