AgaGold is a big new main-crop hybrid developed for favourable maize growing areas of the UK. High silage yield and very high energy content make it ideal for either ruminants or anaerobic digesters. AgaGold has shown excellent stability across site and season. The only listed varieties in its earliness group that arehigher yielding also have potential lodging weakness, or significantly lower energy density.
